The Tunturi Hotel is located a short distance from a charming wintry forest perfect for walking and Northern Light spotting. This hotel offers lots of room options for families to choose from.
Santa’s Tunturi Hotel & Gielas Wing offers a superb range of family rooms, ranging from families of 4, up to larger parties of 13. The Gielas Wing offers a touch of luxury, with modern and stylish family rooms, all with private facilities, sauna and balcony.
This well designed, comfortable hotel consists of 6 buildings and the main central building with reception, restaurants and bar serves as the focal point. The accommodation is situated in the annexed buildings which are accessed by pathways. Serving excellent food and wonderful friendly service, the Tunturi is a great choice for your visit to Lapland. Guests can be allocated rooms in one of the 6 buildings.

There is a superb range of family rooms and suites available in different shapes and sizes, with larger apartments with 3 and 5 bedrooms available on request. Many room types have a private sauna, and whilst all the bedrooms are comfortable, the Family Suites offer that extra bit of space if you want to spread out.
Family Rooms (Type A)
The cosy family bedrooms are kitted out with twin beds and a double sofa-bed, as well as private en-suite with shower. It also has a satellite tv, a hairdryer and everything you need for a nice hot cup of tea, coffee or cocoa.

Family Apartments (Type B)
Apartments with a twin bedroom and a separate lounge which has a double sofa-bed. You can relax in your own private sauna too. En-suite bathroom with shower. Kettle, microwave and fridge.
Sleeps 3-4
Family Apartments (Type C)
There's and extra twin bedroom here making 2 bedrooms in total. The separate lounge has a double sofa-bed too. You'll have your own private sauna and 2 bathrooms with showers. You will also have a stove, kettle, microwave and fridge. Some suites are on 2 levels with a staircase and stair-gates.

Gielas Family Bedrooms (Type D)
The Gielas family bedroom has 2 single beds and a double sofa-bed which is suitable for 1 adult or 2 children, You'll have an en-suite bathroom (bath with shower attachment), sauna, balcony and satellite tv as well as a hair dryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Located in a separate building , the Gielas has it's own bar and restaurant. You'll have breakfast here with evening meals being located in the main Tunturi restaurant.

Gielas Family Bedrooms (Type E)
More spacious than a Type D with 2 single beds and a double sofa-bed, which is suitable for 1 adult or 2 children. You'll have an en-suite bathroom (with bath and shower attachment), sauna, balcomy and satellite tv, There's also a hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities. Gielas has its own bar and restaurant where you will have breakfast. You will have your evening meals in the main Tunturi restaurant.

Four Room Apartments (Type F)
These have all the same features as the Type C Family Suites, just with an extra bedroom. It has 3 bedrooms in total on 2 different levels.
Sleep 6-8
Five Bedroom Apartments (Type G)
For big families with dreams of seeing Santa. Five twin bedrooms plus sofa-beds for 3 in the lounge area. It even has a private sauna and hot tub. The kitchen has a stove, kettle, microwave and fridge.
Sleeps 10-13
Kontio Deluxe Bedrooms (Type M)
Spacious and newly renovated rooms in the Kontio building, close to the main Tunturi restaurant. You'll have twin beds and a sofa-bed thats is suitable for 1 child, along with a sauna, private en-suite bathroom, satellite tv, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.
